TCOM Ministry Preparation Program

Available Learning Tracks:

1. Ministry Preparation Track (2 yrs)

For those who feel called to pastoral
ministry in the local church   

2. Missions Preparation Track(2 yrs)

For those who feel called to foreign missions
and cross cultural ministry within the USA           

2. Church Leadership Development Track (6 mos)                                    

A series of intensive courses designed for
church leaders who desire to be equipped
for better service within the Body of Christ

Each Two-Year Program includes a Core Curriculum of essential courses:

Biblical Studies
         Old Testament Survey 1&2
         New Testament Survey 1&2
         Introduction to Biblical Interpretation

Theology
         Intro to Theology: The Nature of God
         Theology 2: The Person and Work of Jesus Christ
         Theology 3: The Work of the Holy Spirit

Spiritual Formation: Leadership Development Track
         Leadership 1: Spiritual Disciplines (Leading Myself)
         Leadership 2: Spiritual Gifts (Knowing Myself)
         Leadership 3: The Making of a Leader (Yielding to God)
         Leadership 4: Relationships in Leadership (Working with Others)

Trinity College of Ministry: Two-year Missions Preparation Track

Each year consists of:
         * Two Semesters of Core Curriculum and Leadership courses

* Missions Specialization Courses including Cultural Anthropology and    
   Perspectives

         * Practical Missions Intensive Courses led by visiting missionaries

         * 2-3 month field training with an experienced missionary in another country

Trinity College of Ministry: Two-year Ministry Development Track

Each year consists of:
         * Two Semesters of Core Curriculum and Leadership courses

* Practical Ministry intensives with pastors in the areas of: Pastoral studies,  
   Youth ministry, worship arts, counseling.

         * 2-3 month apprenticeship with an experienced ministry leader in your area
             of interest

Trinity College of Ministry: Six-Month Church
Leadership Development Certificate

The CLDC is a six-month track of intensive, personalized training for those who are called to greater service in the body of Christ. 

Using a unique blend of classroom intensives, mentoring, and dialogue/community learning environments, CLDC will help ground leaders in the essential elements of personal development and service within the local church. 

Students can remain an active part of their local church and continue working their jobs while at the same time receiving quality instruction from real leaders who do real ministry in local churches.  Costs are substantially lower than traditional Bible colleges or seminaries.
